Recap on our Philippines Trip

64 hours of travel.

Not for a retreat.

Not for a holiday.

But to go to the roots of the work we hold.

We traveled to the Philippines to spend time with Pi Villaraza, the founder of this profound work.

To sit with him.

To learn from him.

To experience the work where it was born.

To go into the jungle at Maia Earth School, back to basics.

We visited the school, met the facilitators there, and allowed ourselves to be students again.

Not gathering information.

But being reshaped by experience.

One of the biggest reminders for us was the role of music.

Not as background.

But as the medicine itself.

How sound speaks directly to the nervous system.

How carefully woven music can guide a journey deeper than words ever could.

How much more there is to learn, to refine, to embody.

This journey asked a lot from us, physically, mentally, energetically. But we chose it consciously.

Because what we bring into The School of KCA must come from lived experience. From humility. From going back to the source again and again.

We went far to go deeper.

Deeper into ourselves.

Deeper into the roots of this work.

Deeper for the students who will walk this path with us.

We came back changed.

And this will ripple into everything we share, hold and teach at the School of KCA.
